University of St.Gallen
The University of St. Gallen was founded as
a business school in 1898, becoming a university in 1911. Our aim for over a
century has been to provide our students with an unparalleled practice-oriented
education. We offer a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and
executive programs and were the first university in German-speaking Europe to
offer an Executive MBA program.
Boasting the largest business faculty in Germany and Switzerland, we aim to develop
future leaders in business, public administration and law. An integrative view
of economics, business administration, law, social science and the humanities
characterizes our profile and provides students with a holistic education at
the highest academic level. In business administration, our St. Gallen
Management Model is intended to enable students to understand the diverse
aspects of today's management challenges in an overall context.
St. Gallen enjoys an unrivalled reputation in Europe. Our alumni hold leadership positions in major multinational companies. Thanks to our unique educational model, we were the first German-speaking university in Europe to receive both leading international seals of quality, the European EQUIS and the American AACSB accreditation.
